About LEOT

Founded in 2006, LEOT works to improve opportunities for disadvantaged students in Laos through education and community support. What began as a scholarship initiative grew into the opening of the
LEOT School in Luang Prabang in 2012 — a free school providing English and computer studies to students who might otherwise miss out on further education. Led by local teachers and supported by volunteers, LEOT has helped thousands of young people build skills for employment, further study, and brighter futures.
Alongside its teaching programmes, LEOT supports communities by building and repairing schools and improving learning environments. Guided by the belief that education changes destiny, LEOT remains committed to empowering vulnerable groups and creating lasting impact.
