LEOT Family Day

Its lovely to share a day with the LEOT team and their families. Yesterday, 1st March, was special when we visited Kuangsi. The day started with a short visit to Phounsouk Gardens before arriving at Kuangsi. Our first visit was to see the Free the Bears Project.

The small children loved to have pictures taken with the plaster bears. We continued our journey to just below the waterfalls where we setup camp for a picnic.

All but the old man at the front of the picture had a wonderful meal. Peter is recovering after a stroke and eats very little in his battle to loose weight. Some of the team spent over 2 hours eating. The children all went for a swim.

At 3.30 pm we made our way back to our vehicles. The children were happy to visit an elephant camp. I love to visit the social enterprise buffalo farm Where we all enjoyed Buffalo Ice Cream

Our day was now almost finished as we made our way home with many tired children.
